The Spring of 2007 was extremely wet and windy with rainfall in excess of 12" in one 24 hour period in the Kansas City area. Roofs with questionable character would be brought to the attention of their owner.  This proud and well established church had come under some unscrupulous contractor oversight in years past and 2007 brought to the forefront an issue which needed to be addressed. Due to improperly installed roofing materials, this beautiful church had undergone years of hidden water damage which eventually surfaced.

With the information above as the introduction to my meeting of Pastor Larry Chapman, a thorough, well planned evaluation and temporary band aid of the most severe structural defects was completed to bide time for the church elders to completely evaluate the proposed solution to the various problems.

Weeks turned into months as the elders began raising funds and evaluating contractors. With several phone calls for clarification of House and Renner's proposal, Tom Baugh clearly identified each issue and the proposed resolution. Having been scammed by previous contractors, Pastor Larry Chapman knew this was a significant decision not only because of the significant cost but due to the trust given to the church elders by the congregation to use their hard earned money wisely. We understand this entire scenario at House and Renner. We are likewise concerned that we provide the very best service for every dollar spent. In this case one might say we were a match made in heaven.
